Years have pased since the advanced civilization of the four nations: Earth, Fire, Water, and Air. Years since Avatar Aang defeated the fire lord and created peace among the nations. After Korra prospered in Avatar Aang's Republic City, her time had passed and a new one had arrived. The age of exploration and expansion was upon them as the western world was discovered. These people of different races-European, African, Latin American- did not possess the abilities of the eastern world. The ability to bend did not exist among any of them and these civilizations were far behind those of the eastern world. In order to maintain peace with these new people, benders decided to hide their abilities and raise their children to live without them. Generations passed where bending was unheard of and was only an entity of legends. Even the regenerated Avatar was never aware of his or her true power and place in the world for centuries. But the year is 2013. Where the people of Avatar Aang, Keyoshi, Korra, and so forth must take their place in the world. The world must become a place where the elements have risen again. Water, Earth, Fire, Air, Void. Also known as Ether, it is the fifth element, one that has been buried in the past. It is the material that fills up the cosmos and connects everything, possibly the most dangerous element to wield. Just one year after Aang ended the 100 Year War, the forgotten element resurfaced.
