Friday atraia atenção de todos, fosse por sua beleza, fosse por sua gentileza. Ao chegar em seu sexto e penúltimo ano em Hogwarts, Friday descobre uma nova vaga de quadribol no time, coincidentemente era a de goleiro, a posição em que jogava, o que era algo perfeito, isso se, o capitão do time não fosse James Potter. Potter era uma das poucas pessoas com o dom de acabar com a paz interior que Friday Dunequim tinha. As pegadinhas de James com crianças que tinham quase a metade de sua idade tiravam a garota do sério. Entretanto, tudo muda quando Minerva McGonagall divide a turma de Transfiguração em duplas, juntando James e Friday.
