Alastor was not having the best time at the hotel. He was getting overworked and it was so overwhelming for him. The guilt was eating him up.... to make matters worse... the elder angels never told God about Lucifer's fall, that means God had no idea about his fall since he was too busy with his creations to even notice.... Also Adam in this was actually a nice guy compared to canon."
