"do you love her, rigel?" i asked, i could feel the tears form. rigel looked at me, sadness consumed him. "luna" he hesitated. "it's okay. i understand" i said quickly wiping my face and grabbing my things. "luna!" he called out, "please don't leave." i slammed the front door and started running away from the milligan house. i didn't know where i was going. but i knew i had to get away from rigel and everything that reminded me of him.

"Don't go out with him; stay here with me, please," Rigel said, laying his forehead against mine. His hand held onto my waist, firmly keeping me close to his toned body. My eyes were closed. I couldn't look at him because I knew if I did, I would stay with him. I felt his finger underneath my chin, slightly lifting it up. "Look at me." It wasn't a demand; he was begging. His tone was desperate and soft. I can feel myself turning into a puddle in his hands. "I want you. I need you, Nina." With those words, he fell to his knees, bringing my body close to his mouth.
