Let's pretend Neteyam was still alive and this story takes place after the third movie (please do watch it to have a better insight about this story). After the fearsome battle against the sky people and Mangkwan, the Sullys and the rest of the Metkayina clan had their peaceful days. The sky people temporarily withdraw their existence against Pandora, however this isn't the end of it, this is just the beginning of an adventure.
