Update: sooo imma make this book filled with a mix of hamilton fanfiction, heathers dear evan hansen all my favorite musicals bc i cant think of any like og characters or smthing just bear with me u guys😭😭 So I finished The Song Of Achilles last night and I cried. I just don't want a sad ending to such a good book. Achilles and Patroclus deserve to be happy and alive. So thats what will happen in this book. Enjoyyy :)

This is my spin-off of The Song of Achilles. Set in the modern era, Achilles and Patroclus meet under the incidents of politics, business, and pride. Will their parents keep them apart for appearance? Will their parents play any part in their lives? Will their love save them this time? Or will it cause destruction again? Are they still doomed? It will be a very similar story to The Song Of Achilles plot wise, especially in the beginning. It will get better, though, I promise. Credits to Madeline Miller, writers of the illiad, and those random people on pinterest for ideas. Also this leans a little Hamilton so sorry in advance I suck at descriptions, sorry.

After finishing the song of Achilles, I decided to write this headcanon so I could move on with my life. In hopes that my heart would finally mend after Madeline tore it from my chest.(T_T) I just felt that I needed a short story where we get to see Achilles and Patroclus reunited and happy in their afterlife. It was quite a cathartic process and the end result is this. I hope it gives you as much relief reading it as it gave me writing it. Enjoy :) Setting: After Thetis etches Patroclus' name on Achilles' tomb, his soul is finally unbound from the earth. Patroclus is free to reunite with his lover, friend, companion and protector, Achilles. P.S My heart is still broken, but less so after writing this.

Patrochilles AU Patroclus and Achilles were best friends as children, but when they got to high school they drifted apart. Achilles made lots of new friends, while Patroclus is the loner, with Greek foreign exchange student Briseis as his only friend. Now Achilles needs his help, but, afraid of getting hurt again, Patroclus is reluctant to let him back into his life.

THERE IS A BIT OF SWEARING. This is the ship between Patroclus and Achilles of The Illiad. I still ship Achilles and Briseus but I thought these were funny and wanted to put them here. If you don't like the ship you don't have to read. None of the stuff is mine, I just thought some people might want to see it. There is also a little other stuff sprinkled throughout it. Patroclus goes back home for Spring break and can sense something has changed while dealing with his parents he also met back up with Achilles and have become much closer during Spring break. How close will they be when Break is over?
