"Thunder and solar eclipses used to be considered supernatural. It's only a label until a scientist proves it with their biased rulebook. Once they do, it just becomes nature. What if there was a different rulebook?" A PARANORMAL ROMANCE: Homesick for Georgia, Dana must wait three summer months in Benton for probate to clear on her estranged grandmother's estate or face losing her inheritance. Chased by a loan shark she owes a debt to, Dana turns to local mechanics, Paul and Luke, for protection. But when the charismatic brothers withhold secrets scarier than the criminal hunting her, she soon realizes Benton serves another purpose. The town plays by a different rulebook. Dead doesn't always mean buried. Her return may no longer be the coincidence she once thought it was, and the very essence of what it means to be 'free' becomes threatened. ************************************************ Copyright 2022 S James

I go by Artemis Blythe. I'm an ex-soldier turned murderer. I was charged with thirty murders and was subsequently sentenced to death. Preceding my execution, in a twist of fate, I was reborn in a child's body in a dog eat dog world ruled by two factions: Righteous and Demonic. I had two abilities in my arsenal: One let me cheat death, the other strengthened me the more I killed. I had two goals: One was to destroy the Righteous faction in its entirety, the second was to enjoy the hunt. I was named after the Goddess of the Hunt after all. Now that I was in a world where murder was validated and not outlawed, it would surely be nothing less than good time. No kindness. No selflessness. No altruism. Just acting on self-interest. There wasn't a single good bone in my body. Only pure, condensed, unadulterated evil.
