Caera is not the chosen one. As far as she knows, she is not an alien, or a demigod, or a vampire with all the cool sparkly vampire-y stuff but none of the evilness. Does she have hidden, unawakened powers slumbering deep inside her? Hell, no! At least, that's what she thought at the beginning... When she gets kidnapped by an interstellar organization (specifically by a devilishly handsome and wickedly annoying young agent with a chip on his shoulder) and thrown into a thickening plot of political intrigue, secrets are revealed and the world as she knows it turns on its head. Does she have what it takes to survive her new reality? I guess you'll have to read Starbound to find out ;)
