Johnny, Lauren, and Conner are all secretly Vampires who were paid to spy on Annie due to her parents being Vampire hunters. Although Annie knows Vampires were once real, she thinks they have gone extinct because of what her parents had told her. Annie had no interest making friends until she met Johnny. He knew in order to get close to her to see if she knew anything useful he had to fake being in love with her. In the process he had done things he's never done with anyone just to keep his cover. Although Annie thinks vampires are all dead, she despises them due to vampires murdering her brother. What she doesn't know is that they also had murdered her parents but Annie still think they're alive, just traveling around the world.
