Ermine is the eldest son of Chief Tonraq and Chieftess Senna, and older brother to Sokka and Korra. And is to be future chief of his village in Arctica. He always longed for freedom from his duties. He wished he could escape like his older cousins, Korren and Kya, who three years ago bonded with dragons and became the most powerful beings in Erdas, except for the Great Beasts themselves. And then left to begin their training on the mysterious island base of the Dragon Riders. He however, gets his wish, but will his father, who is one not to let go, let him go to begin his training with his cousins? Moray and his parents are loyal subjects to the king and queen of The Hundred Isles. When he hears rumors that the Riders are returning, and he accidentally finds a dragon egg, and it hatches. Where will he decides his loyalty belongs: to his family and people or to the Riders and Erdas? Toph Beifong is the only daughter of of Lao and Poppy Beifong, one of the wealthiest families in Xia Kao Dai, the capital city of Zhong. Her parents always sheltered her too much that no one even knew she existed because they believed her to be too frail and defenseless because she was born blind. When Toph runs away one day and comes face to face with a legendary beast, thought to be extinct, will it kill her or save her from her current life? This is a fanfic of Wings of Fire, Spirit Animals, and the Inheritance Cycle. I used Toph because I just really like her character and life and love how she went from the quiet, frail girl to the strong independent person she becomes in Avatar the Last Airbender. Again I used magic from Harry Potter. I used names from ATLA because I like their names , but their personalities and appearances are not the same, except for Toph.

Based loosely on the song "A Monster Like Me" (P.S. I am shamelessly combining two fandoms. Inheritance Cycle (Or Eragon) and Lord of the Rings.) Forn isn't an elf. Of course she may be immortal like one, but she isn't an elf. She is a dragon and is feared by many. She has been hunted many times and soon flees to the woods of Mirkwood, which she assumed would be safe. Little did she know she would meet an elf there and her life would be spared, for a price she is willing to pay. After she and Legolas bond, she would do anything for him. Including follow him on dangerous adventures that may get them both killed.

You know the story. The beginning and the end. A lone Rider and dragon prevailing against impossible odds. But what if they were changed? Another pair that takes up the mantle of responsibility and makes a mark on Alagaësia in their own way? What if Eragon had a twin sister and in the Spine, they found a red stone instead? What changes, then, starting from the very beginning? ======================================== An Inheritance Cycle fanfiction/rewrite, written in such a way that even those unfamiliar with the series can read without issue! An OC insert at the beginning of the first book where the difference in character, personality, and actions cause this story to diverge from the one we know slowly. Some of the first chapters are more or less simple edited copies of actual chapters from the books, mainly because there was simply not much to change. But as the story diverges, so will the chapters. Currently, I plan to rewrite the entirety of the first book, but that is a pretty huge goal, so we'll see. The biggest influence on this story will be you; your reviews and feedback! Please do not hesitate to drop your thoughts, but do be sensible and analytical about it! That is all, I hope you enjoy!

This is the third time I've had to write a summary so I am just going to keep it short. Percy is killed in the giant war along with a few others and his soul is reborn to another world as a dragon and Eragon is finding out what he and his dragon Saphira can do, and this will be based after the last Percy Jackson book and during the First and Second Inheritance books. ALL RIGHTS RESERVED TO RICK RIORDAN AND CHRISTOPHER PAOLINI. Rankings: #5, #689 - Eragon (2-18-19), (5-14-19) #153, #7 - saphira (2-28-19), (5-14-19) #68, #1, #1 - alagaesia (2-28-19), (4-13-19), (5-14-19)

{Iara's Lifetime Book 1} Siblings scattered across continents....things hidden in the world and in the mind, things better left that way. When the first rider in two decades appears, lost, hungry, and alone except for her dragon, it is only the beginning in a tale of curses, death, betrayal, love, and flowers from the sky. Iara is young, inexperienced and hopeful. Welcome to her first set of adventures. Truthfully, you'll be begging for more. Read on my friends! This is a fanfic of the Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, so I don't exactly own Eragon, Saphira, Murtagh, Thorn, Alagaesia, and all the other familiar faces. Iara and her family is of my own creation. By the way, this is an Eragon fan-fiction and takes place twenty years after the events in the Inheritance Cycle. Enjoy!

Eragon was once an orphan who lived on a farm, didn't know who his father was, and had never stepped foot outside of Palancar Valley. But when a blue stone appeared before him in the Spine, hatching a baby dragon, everything changed. Now, he is known as Eragon Shadeslayer, son of Brom and one of the last remaining Riders. He and his dragon, Saphira Bjartskular, have journeyed across the Empire: facing countless foes, winning many battles, and beating impossible odds. They know they are the ONLY ones who can free Alagaësia from the tyrannical King Galbatorix's rule - or are they? When a mysterious girl named Niaomi arrives at the Varden, she brings with her new hope, but also new dangers. For though she and her allies have great powers, Galbatorix will stop at nothing to capture them. And when the third dragon egg hatches, will the newcomers' history hold the key to freedom for the enslaved "Shur'tugalar"? In the first volume of an epic tale, the Riders will be forced to confront spies, thwart assassination attempts, and uncover their pasts. But even though the Varden's skill grows, the coming battle will require all of their strength. For the black king still possesses an unmatched power that even the gods would be hard-pressed to defeat. *see A/N for the full book's trailer* [COMPLETED: readable though in editing] - Chapter Status: last edited 12/3/15 • Edited: #1-#7 • In Progress: - • Unedited: #8-#10 "Destiny (Volume II: Indlvarn)" has been posted and is currently in progress. ~~~~~ Posted: Aug. 12, 2012 ~ All characters, settings, and events referenced from the Inheritance Cycle in "Destiny" and all other related works are owned by Christopher Paolini. Two hundred and fifty years after the fall of Galbatorix, Alagaesia is a very different place. Trading routes have been opened up all through the world with the country being the center of it all. Ilirea has become a thriving city and has grown immensely, with large businesses bustling, and tens of thousands of citizens living their daily lives. With the dragon riders thriving with the country nothing seems wrong. But with a large city comes a dark underground, and with rumours spreading the streets of a powerful new weapon not even the elves can compete with, the dragon riders find themselves losing what little control they have over the criminals hiding in the shadows. Ragin, professional thief and assassin, has been tasked with an impossible mission. One that has never been achieved before. Stealing a dragon egg. But there is a surprise at the end of this mission, one that no one could foresee. (Disclaimer, I do not own the inheritance series or the characters that appear in it. Addiane found her life to be comfortable enough. She may not have known her family, but she was fed and taken care of by those she lived with. She rarely feared for her life, and she was being taught valuable life lessons by those around her. Of course, training to be a Dragon Rider under the Shadeslayer himself, the first proper Rider in a long time, was a major bonus. Addiane wouldn't have thought she'd ever want to leave their little haven. Her curiosity simply got the better of her when Eragon's cousin made a plea for assistance, describing terrifying marauders and bowmen whose aim had been blessed by gods. And of course there was the man who rode the red dragon. Addiane had to know more about him, and about what was going on in the mountains that Eragon Shadeslayer had once called home. She really didn't know what she was getting into. *I DON'T OWN THE RANGERS APPRENTICE SERIES/ACCOMPANYING BOOKS OR THE INHERITANCE CYCLE, I JUST REALLY LOOK UP TO JOHN FLANAGAN AND CHRISTOPHER PAOLINI*

My name is Umaroth Ajikson. My father and sister died in a fire, my mother died shortly afterwards. I've been living in the Spine since shortly after that. However, one day I saved someone from dying by a bear. This person was travelling with another person and a dragon. My life just got a whole lot more interesting. I joined the trio on their travels with my trusty stallion, Istal. Eragon and his dragon, Saphira, must take up the mantle of the legendary Dragon Riders. Joined by Brom, an old storyteller who isn't who he says he is, and myself, someone who has a lot of bad luck, all of us must navigate the dangerous terrain and dark enemies of an Empire ruled by a king whose evil knows no bounds. Together we must face enemies and get through the battles surround us. I've been sucked into an adventure that wasn't meant to be mine, but now that I'm here, I'm not leaving Eragon, Brom and Saphira to their fate. Plus, the purple dragon in my dreams says we're going to meet soon. Who am I to deny that? This is my story, and remember; when everything seems dark sja fram, look forward.

Hated by the people she's sworn to protect, dragon rider Neely Lynch searches for her stolen dragon while struggling to control the dark powers inside her. ***** After the Culling of Naughton -- a horrific slaughter that led to the murder of several dragon riders and the destruction of two separate armies -- Neely Lynch is on the warpath. Unbeknownst to most, Neely and her friends survived the Culling and are determined to reunite with their kidnapped dragons at any cost (even if that means leaving a trail of broken and bloody bodies behind them). But finding her dragon soon becomes the least of her problems when Neely discovers her disappearance after the Culling has only added to her reputation as the infamous Vidalin Rider. Hated and scorned by the people she's sworn to protect, Neely must find a way to prove she's not the villain everyone thinks she is before her dark and deadly powers, which are slowly growing beyond her control, transform her into the very thing she's trying not to be. [The Rider's Legend can be read as Book 3 in The Rider series, or as a standalone -- but note that it will spoil Book 1 and 2] [[word count: 150,000-200,000 words]]
