She only has twenty-seven days to do it. And if Hadley doesn't succeed? Well, she doesn't want to think about that.

✨COMPLETED✨ I took a few steps before I stopped to face him again. "Jay?" I said, barely above a whisper. "Hmm?" "I love you. You know that right?" I asked, kind of unsure. "of course. Of course I do." He said, scrunching his eyebrows as if he doesn't understand why I would randomly say that. "I love you very much." I repeated, every bone in my body aching from this pain, this betrayal. What I'm doing, or going to do, is definitely some form of betrayal. But I don't have a choice, right? He needs to understand that I don't have a choice. Or do I? "I do too. But...Why are you saying it like that?" He asked, feeling a little anxious. "Like what?" I replied, praying to dear God he doesn't say something that'll make me cry. "Like you're saying goodbye." 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸 Alexis Pierce is just another high school clumsy story. She falls and trips over random stuff, says the weirdest words ever, but she is one of the smartest would-be detectives out there. One random day, she gets thrown into her school basement and almost dies. Then from there on out - her worst nightmares came to life one by one. She gets kidnapped and terrorized by people she would've never expected, she gets threatened in the worst way and in that journey - she discovers what true friendship and sacrifice meant. Join her on her journey of friendship, love, and sacrifice. A little crime here and there and a little love sprinkled on top. There was a boy that likes a girl. He always took notice of her even when she wasn't aware of his presence. With his nerdy appearance and his black-rimmed eyeglasses, he thought it was improbable that he could have a chance with her. He was just a nobody. Always afraid of taking chances, fearing of stumbling in the midst of his words, and his confidence shrinking. Even the thought of her, he has the butterflies growing in his stomach. With just one look at her and he was already in trouble. All he needed would just be that little push to overcome his shyness and taking a step forward. -- #1 on #highschoollove #2 on #loveatfirstsight #122 on #firstlove #14 in #shortstory Thank you!

Looking at him from across the cafeteria my heart just stops. He bites his lower lip slightly as he reads the following words off of his new book, adjusting his hair from time to time. How can someone you've spent all of high school trying to forget still be the one to hold your heart?.. Stop staring! I look away and my eyes focus on something else... He's still the one I love. After all this time. I can't change that.. But he hates you. I wince at the thoughts coursing through me. You don't know that for sure.. Oh who am I kidding? Of course he hates me. If I was him I'd hate me too. A frown makes its way onto my face. Maybe just one more peek.. I glance back at him only to see his blue eyes no longer on the pages of his book but on me. We lock eyes and everything else disappears for a moment. My brown ones widen in shock. Shit! I try to look away but my eyes stay focused on him, and only him. ..Then something amazing happens.. He smiles. *currently editing some chapters* (This is sort of like the prologue. It is not in the book though. I wrote this so that you all can read it and see what's in store for this book. And I suck at descriptions so this is all I could think of. Also I curse a lot so yeah) (#14 in teen fiction)

She's just a clumsy, overworked college student with zero dating experience. That is, until she does something spectacularly dumb that inevitably put her in his path. Now, instead of living her quiet, peaceful life, she's dealing with: • ‌A ridiculously good-looking serial killer who won't leave her alone. • ‌Death threats that sound suspiciously flirty. And, Eleo's got two options: 1. Find out who the killer is before he "accidentally" falls in love with her. 2. Die. ...And dying sounds 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 inconvenient. 🚨 Not a tutorial. Do NOT attempt.

Shortlisted for the Wattys 2025! When Eden Devereaux transfers to Phillips Academy for her senior year, she has one goal: to prove herself as an investigative journalist and secure her future in the field. So when the opportunity to be published in The New York Times arises, she sets her sights on a story no one else dares to touch: the recent death of Malia Carter. Malia was sixteen, beloved by the elite Hillside community, and her death-an apparent overdose at a party-left behind more questions than answers. The police ruled it accidental, but the scene told a different story: bloody handprints on the walls, a shattered mirror, and Marcus Carter-Malia's brother-found at the scene, covered in blood. At first, Eden thinks she's chasing a simple exposé. But the deeper she digs, the more tangled the story becomes-grief, guilt, and the lengths people go to protect the ones they love. As secrets unravel, Eden finds herself forced to confront uncomfortable truths: about Malia, about Hillside, and about herself. Her ambition brought her here, but at what cost? Because some stories aren't about answers-they're about what's left unsaid. And sometimes, the truth is the hardest thing to face.
