"Well hello, Hayden. Pleasant meeting your beautiful face here." He grins at me, and his eyes look me up and down thoughtfully. His full lips pulling to the side in a mischievous smirk, I've seen this look when he's up to something. His dark blue eyes sparkle with excitement.
"Pleasant is not the word I would have used." I reply. I let my eyes look him up and down in return, satisfied he noticed this. Mark steps closer, then leans down to my height and in almost a whisper says "I think we should talk about some business tonight, why dont you come over to my place for a drink?" He puts his hands in his pockets as he leans away gleaming down at me.
"I don't know mark, I'm so busy tonight and-" he cuts me off abruptly by tsking and tucking a curl behind my ear.
Mark leans back down to swiftly kiss my flushed cheek.
"Dress nice." He walks off after he says those two words, his John Lobb Seaton Patent loafers clapping the asphalt under him. I roll my eyes in frustration, Mark is so handsome but how he acts like he own me makes him ugly and how he knew I was on the other side of town is beyond me but I don't think this was a 'surprise' meeting as he put it. He is a very well planned and powerful individual, Which is exactly why I have to go.

I consider my life rather normal, I have a normal job and friends. My family has its drama but they're the average family to me I suppose. I live in a normal one bedroom apartment with my bratty normal cat. I go to work everyday and stay to late at the bar Saturday nights, which is normal.
Although , one thing I don't consider normal by any means would be, my love life. That is a whole other story in itself that I don't tell many, if anyone. It's so extraordinary that I simply cannot continue to keep it separate to my normal life.
So here's how my peculiar love life hinders my normal life and here's what I don't do about it except keep making bad decisions in hopes a good one comes about it.
