While on a camping trip, Merlin was obviously exhausted as he'd been acting strange all day. As he falls asleep, Gwaine finds a small leather bound journal hidden away in the servants coat, which he soon learns is a journal. He reads a few to himself, then to the Knights. They all soon realize how sad and how seemingly alone Merlin believes he is. They all realize, just how little they know about Merlin. [Hint: The Knights and Arthur learn about Freya!]

Merlin has always looked out for Arthur, no matter what. But at what cost? Because of his destiny he has given up almost everyone he holds dear to him to ensure that Albion is created. And whilst seeing Arthur succeed is a reward in and of itself, all that Merlin has gone through to get Arthur on the throne of Camelot is starting to catch up with him.

The knights find out about Merlin's scars and intend to find out more. Merlin attempts to evade certain subjects.

Merlin is attacked and won't tell Arthur anything. Arthur likes Merlin, his hand servant for almost 2 years, it breaks his heart to see Merlin this beat up and hurt. Arthur is trying to do whatever he can to forward his relationship with Merlin, while he tries to find out and understand what happened to his brunette servant. This book will have little (or big depending how it plays out) stories about the TV show Merlin that can be more then a few chapters or just one. You can recommend things and I'll see if I can do good of the idea.

He only heard a faint bump when he should have heard something a lot louder. Merlin's fears from the previous day came true as he sat there in bed trying to process it. The ringing had gone, but he still couldn't hear anything. OR Merlin gets injured in a fight and is rendered temporarily deaf. He doesn't want Arthur to find out, but he does anyway. Angst and hurt/comfort ahead.
