Well shit! Change of plans to the lore? The choir is dead Fucking dead and gone Except the afterlife isn't what everyone might have thought it would be Everything is basically the same. It all near looks the same (maybe a little de-saturated but the town has always felt like it lacked color) and everyone else is still here And none of the other people outside of the choir and Karnak are real, They're all death's interpretation of them to make the afterlife feel more "lively" Everyone outside of the choir (-Karnak) won't acknowledge the cyclone accident because this is the afterlife trying to convince them they never died so they can continue life as if it were normal (And ignore how they don't age) and be happy

Mischa Bachinski might just be the most annoying person y/n has ever met. It's bad enough that he ruins her math class, but choir too? She needs to find a way to deal with him and fast. But what would happen if she finds out that maybe she doesn't really hate him? She might even like him. Y/n uses she/they pronouns. Takes place a year before the accident.

I was quiet. "That really bothered you that much?" He nodded. "Yeah. I knew it would bother you. And it bothered me, too. For other reasons, though." "Other reasons?" I echoed. Now it was his turn to be quiet for a moment. I could see that he was thinking, debating in his head. "This isn't how I imagined it at all. Pouring, in a parking lot, just after I leave detention. It's kind of funny," Mischa nearly laughed, but didn't. I just looked at him, confused, heart pounding. "There's something that I really need to say. And if I hold it in any longer, It'll eat away at me."
