This story used to be called Newt and Tina but I've changed the name because it wasn't really much of a title. It was written before the existence of 'Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald'. Newt returns to New York with the very first copy of his book. Nobody knew how long he would end up staying there. Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them does not belong to me. These are all just scenes from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald that I have rewritten, using all the original dialogue. Tina wakes up in a hospital in 1925 after a difficult mission. Her head aches terribly and is wrapped tightly with a clean, white bandage. At first glance, everything seems normal. Only, it's not 1925. It's 1928 and things have changed. For one thing, Queenie is no longer living in New York, having moved to London to marry a No-Maj. Also, the situation with Grindelwald is a lot worse than it had been three years before. However, the strangest thing is the tall British man who was standing by her bed when she woke up and seems to be staying in her apartment. This takes place after Crimes of Grindelwald so everything that happened in that movie happened before this. Except that I'm saving Queenie and Leta.
