When Red Son's mother, Princess Iron Fan, humiliates him in front of the entire Monkie Gang, he decides he's had enough and goes ballistic on her. Once he's realised what he's done, it's too late. The damage has been done. Red Son's parents kick him out of their home, leaving him to fend for himself with only the few things he can fit into his small backpack. The healing process is slow and painful, it hurts to even use his power. He finds himself unable to even move from his bed some morning. On the verge of death, Sun Wukong is worried for his ex-best friend.
