When Red Son's mother, Princess Iron Fan, humiliates him in front of the entire Monkie Gang, he decides he's had enough and goes ballistic on her. Once he's realised what he's done, it's too late. The damage has been done. Red Son's parents kick him out of their home, leaving him to fend for himself with only the few things he can fit into his small backpack. The story after Better Days! After Macaque had been cured of the liquid cursed, someone forgot to get rid of it properly, and now it's in the water source! Nearly everyone has been infected with such a deadly disease including Mk! The team is worried, especially Redson. So many survivors and so many deaths. MK might fall into the wrong category.

During a battle, Macaque gets injured, the group does not yet trust Macaque and is still skeptical so they leave the monkey king to watch over him, not only to make sure he is well healed but also so he doesn't run off or do anything destructive. The healing process is slow and painful, it hurts to even use his power. He finds himself unable to even move from his bed some morning. On the verge of death, Sun Wukong is worried for his ex-best friend.
