X97A2 is an orbital on a century-long research mission in around Jupiter. He hears music coming deep from within the planet, and enters its atmosphere on a one way trip to investigate. What he learns on his five minute journey will not only change the world, but it will challenge his place in it. I wrote this story sitting in my hotel room in Grosvenor Square, London, the night before my trip to Oxford University to speak on complex networks. I stumbled on a YouTube video (with nine million views) playing what is called "The Music of Jupiter". I was inspired by the hypnotic and spooky sound. I even embedded the video in the story, and you can listen while reading. What started as a first contact story, morphed into a story on sentience. And about finding life and awareness in unexpected places. THE MUSIC OF JUPITER is also about mothers, like Miranda, and their importance in our lives. I dedicate this to my own mother Anna Maria, and my sister Lisa (also a mother). I am brave enough to call this Young Adult fiction, aimed as 12-18-year-olds. But the story transcends age. Hopefully, the 1980 pop culture references are not too obscure, but we live in the age of easy access to information from the web and social media. And Stevie Nicks continues to rock on, twirling away in the present day. Thanks to my beta readers and editors. And a special thanks to my husband Doug who for his vegan pancakes and critique. By the way, my covers are by Carl at Extended Imagery. He is super talented; check out his work http://extendedimagery.com/

Brian Walker, the IT guy at a small government contractor, has two problems. First, he hasn't had his morning coffee, and second, a strange voice in his head claims an alien invasion is underway. Solving the least pressing of the two should be pretty simple, but that leaves the coffee issue to deal with! Still, what if that voice is telling the truth? Brian's lunch buddy, Dale, thinks so-but then, he also thinks the government has been putting mind control drugs in the water supply. After deciding to trust the voice in his head, all he needs is a first-rate team to face off against the aliens. He ends up with a Princess Bride fanatic (with eyes for him), a conspiracy theorist, and a cosplayer. Follow Brian and his ill-equipped band of office workers, as they try to save the world from well-meaning aliens that have finally lost patience waiting for the human race to kill itself off.

A cat, a raven, and a missing ring lead to scandal for the old earl's bastard grandson and the baker's daughter. The missing heir to the Earl of Ravenstone has come forward, cutting out Fletcher Graham's brother. The new heir offers proof of his identity in the form of a family signet ring. When the ring disappears, Fletch suspects a woman he saw leaving his grandfather's office, and he resolves to confront her. She's no servant, however, she's the baker's daughter, a savvy businesswoman. Her determination to help confounds him as much as his growing attraction to her. Supplying ginger biscuits and apple tarts to Ravenstone Castle brought Anna Hale fame and a brisk business. A missing ring threatens that business, and her champion mouser appears to be in the middle of the mystery. Anna inserts herself into the investigation only to find herself caught in a scandal that leads to a sham betrothal. She knows she must find a way out of it; she just isn't sure she wants to.

"They may see you as how you try to be, but what I see is what you try not to be." SHE IS A BASTARD... Maxine Theobald hid from the rest of society to protect her father's name. But as she grows tired of her role-playing games every year during the famous Theobald weekend parties, she starts to question how she has been living her life. She starts to wonder about the other part of her that she was deprived of--her mother and why she left her. A DISGUISE... Having finally found the courage to search for the one thing that she believes can help her understand her true nature, Maxine cuts her hair, puts on her breeches, and runs away from the only home she has ever known. She travels to the affluent town of Wickhurst and found herself employed as the valet of the famous rake Nicholas Everard, a game she will later find to be quite dangerous. SOMETHING DIFFERENT... Maxine set out into an adventure with none but one goal, yet found herself stumbling upon an unlikely find for the search of something else--romance. Still set in the fictional place of the Town, this fifth book in the Everard Family series follows one heroine who has chosen to defy the norm and her own fears in an attempt to understand her own nature, the first step to a discovery of not just about her lineage, but of love so unexpectedly, irritatingly and undeniably powerful. (This story is a standalone title in the Everard Family series.)
