Growing up in a hostile environment, falling in love , and trying to beat the odds these group of friends take on hard times . Araya is a sixteen year old troubled teen . Every since he was four he's witnessed his parents domestic relationship until he was eleven and that's when he witnessed his first murder which was his mom blowing his dead's brains out right before she turned the gun on herself doing the same. His grandmother took care of him ever since but what happens cancer takes over her body and she's too sick to work leaving them hungry and in the dark and Jessie has to step up and make money to take care of them possibly leaving him being the enemy of his best friends family ? Cody is a fifteen year old facing problems in his household . Unable to get a legal job he's forced to watch his mom sell her body to make ends meet but what happens when she gets locked up leaving him and his siblings getting split up to the system . He ends up on the other side of the town , or shall I say the other side of a war brewing between east and west cedarwood . When everything around them starts to fall apart they do their best to stay together . Can they make it through the hard times or will they let the odds get the best of them ?
