No! NO! WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS?! THESE PEOPLE HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS! THEY AREN'T EVEN MY REAL PARENTS!" I screamed, pleading desperately as I turned to King Alduin. But when his eyes avoided mine, all hope drained from my soul. "I'm sorry... I'm so, so sorry, Mom... Dad... that you got dragged into all of this," I said, my voice cracking as tears streamed down my face. I expected them to look at me with hatred-for what I had done, for what I was.
