Nearly everyone has been infected with such a deadly disease including Mk! The team is worried, especially Redson. So many survivors and so many deaths. MK might fall into the wrong category.

During a battle, Macaque gets injured, the group does not yet trust Macaque and is still skeptical so they leave the monkey king to watch over him, not only to make sure he is well healed but also so he doesn't run off or do anything destructive. The healing process is slow and painful, it hurts to even use his power. He finds himself unable to even move from his bed some morning. On the verge of death, Sun Wukong is worried for his ex-best friend.
