Warning: Mature audiences only. "I love you," he whispered seductively in my ears sending chills throughout my entire body. I was more than in love with this man. He had my mind going wild with just a single touch of his soft hands against my skin. "I want you," he says as he gently pulls me into his arms and kisses my lips passionately. Making my body want more of the sensational feeling his affection created in my body. I was most definitely sprung and I honestly didn't want this amazing feeling he gave me to ever end. He was phenomenal, and he had all of the attributes I looked for in a man. He was fine as hell, romantic, consistent, loyal, funny, active, and had money. "How can a man be so perfect?" I thought in my head as I looked lustfully into his dark brown eyes. "Or maybe he isn't as perfect as I think?" I questioned myself being opened to the possibility that I was slightly blinded by his perfections. "Or what if he's playing me and he's not who I think he is at all?" I thought jokingly, quickly eliminating that possibility. ****************** Who is this wondrous man? is he as great as he seems? Or are the possibilities endless? Follow Nevaeh Nicole Johnson on her search for happiness. Maybe she's already found it? But you'll have to find out.

Twenty-six year old Ja'Marr Phillips, also known as Prodigy, was your typical street dude. Residing in the slums of Philadelphia, PA, the hood life was all Ja'Marr knew and he was fine with that. His life was as cliché as it could ever get. Family was nonexistent, he had one good friend, he sold drugs, he had enemies, and he had a girlfriend who he didn't quite like as much as he should. He was disrespectful, nasty, selfish, and a certified cheater with no heart or soul in this body. Love was never meant for him and neither was settling down which explained the constant cheating he partook in. Though his infidelity wasn't much of a surprise to anyone, the sudden turn of events that occurred when he met her sure was. Twenty-three year old, Jersey Martin, was average. That's it and that's all. There wasn't anything over the top, unique, or extravagant about her. She was a simple young adult who made her money and kept to herself. The only abnormal quantity about her was her sex appeal. Jersey was the type of chick who enjoyed sex, the sexual desire she craved was unlike no other. She would give it to just about anyone. Male. Female. Anyone in between. If she was attracted to them then she was going to bang. Though some may consider her actions disgusting and even say she has a sex addiction, Jersey still didn't care. She wasn't into relationships or long-term sneaky links or committing to anyone at that matter. Yet, she found herself going against her own beliefs after meeting him. This is THE OTHER HER. "You no tell this girl that I said, I want no relations with a darkie?" She spat to me, making my eyes go wide. What? I thought to myself and Gio tried pulling me away but I snatched away from him, knowing I heard right this time. "Wait, what?" I spoke out loud and Gi grabbed me roughly, trying to pull me away again. "Why you saying these things? She's beautiful." I heard his abuelita sticking up for me as she stood to her feet and all the guys began to as well, telling their mom that she was wrong for what she was doing. "That puta heard me." She spat, pointing her finger at me. "You're too dark." She held up a brown paper bag that she was drinking her beer out of. "You no match this bag or lighter, you're too dark." "You look too much like his father. I no want you around me." She shooed me off, instantly breaking my heart into a billion pieces as I looked up at Giovanni who was looking down at me with hurt in his eyes. "Baby, please." He begged and I shook my head at him in disgust before putting my attention back onto her. "Get that darkness out of here, Giovanni. She's a demon." "Only demons have her color." She kept on going and I felt sick to my stomach in this moment as I stood there in complete shock.

Sinner 2. (The Sequel) "Aight, baby." He reluctantly grumbled, looking down into my eyes. "Whatever you want, I'a do it." Was all he said and I raised my eyes in shock. "You want me to leave this shit alone, you want me to leave this game? I'a do it." He looked down into my eyes seriously. "You hear me?" "It's done, baby. It's over." "What?" "Really?" I asked in disbelief, considering he was so content last night and this morning about his initial decision. "Yes, G." "You want me to stop? Then it's over." He said, licking his lips and I couldn't help to smile small, feeling 100% better. Apart of me believed him but a small part of me felt like he was just trying to make things better for the moment. "Do you promise, Abir?" I spoke barely above a whisper now and he nodded, looking away from me. "Yeah, ma." "Whatever you want." Then it's settled.

"Mama, I can't just leave Abir." I admitted, telling her exactly why I couldn't do this. Not only would she be snatching me away from my family and friends but she was taking me away from the person I'd loved for five going on six years. I couldn't just walk away from him. "Baby.." She trailed off, sighing deeply. "I know you love Abir." She stood to her feet to stop packing for a moment and pulled me into her. "But I promise you, there will be other boys. Right now you have to do what's best for you and that's coming with your daddy and I to give you a better life." "Better life for who? You?!" I screamed out, becoming even more angry at her choice of words. As if my feelings were robotic and I could just turn them on and off for any and every person. "My feelings just don't matter to y'all at all, huh?" I asked, crying harder than before now. "Speak to your mother with some respect, Giselle." My father spat to me and I shook my head, watching as they stood there looking at me like some dumb teenager. This wasn't puppy love for me. I didn't spend 5 years building something, just to walk away from it for their dreams. I couldn't do it. Sinner. Book #1

ATTENTION: YOU MUST READ FRESHMEN YEAR FIRST! Freshly new nineteen year old, Shai Carter, is back with even more madness. Entering his sophomore year of college, Shai returns with an "I don't care" attitude that surely raises some eyebrows and stirs up unnecessary conflict. Matters become worse when his mother, Allison, tries to find her way back into his life. He didn't know her true intentions for being back or whether she was going to stay around for once. He did know one thing surely, he wasn't going to allow anyone or anything interrupt his ongoing peace of mind. He was staying true to himself, avoiding all drama and bullcrap that people could possibly pull on him. That included the ones he loved. But drama seems to always find him. She didn't think her second year would be like this but it was something. Eighteen year old, Desdemona Young, came back with a fresh new demeanor and confidence. She was claiming this year as hers with no drama. At least, that's what she thought. With the drastically new unpleasant attitudes and people that's been lingering around, Dess wasn't sure if she could handle relationships, school, and her social life all at once. There was one thing she made sure of, life had its ups and downs, but it's up to the person to continue the fight. Would she be willingly to continue when all things fail? Model. Wife. Entrepreneur. Allison Carter-Williams had many talents and skills. But, one that she lacked was being a mother. Missing majority of Shai's life placed a barrier between mother and son that was too hard to piece back together. But with free time this new year, she was using it wisely. Somewhat. With the thoughts of wanting to patch things up with her son, Allison is met with multiple never-ending issues and halts in her mission. She just wanted one thing...a relationship with her child, but that seemed too impossible with secrets and lies she's still holding to. October 18, 2023 - August 22, 2024
