ᥫ᭡ ʚ⋆ 𝜗𝜚 ⋆ɞ ᥫ᭡ Avery Delgado grew up in the shadow of circuitry and oxygen meters, the daughter of one of the Ark's most respected engineers. From a young age, she showed a natural aptitude for systems diagnostics and mechanical repairs, often sneaking into maintenance corridors to watch her mother work. Though unofficial, her training was rigorous. Quiet lessons exchanged over rationed meals, whispered formulas etched in condensation on recycled glass. But genius doesn't always come with caution. At sixteen, eager to prove herself, Avery accessed a restricted subsystem to run a recalibration simulation. She miscalculated. The system looped continuously for hours, venting what amounted to two weeks' worth of oxygen into the void of space before anyone caught the error. The cost was catastrophic-and unforgivable. She was arrested immediately, labeled reckless and dangerous. It didn't matter that it was an accident. On the Ark, every breath mattered. When they came for her, Avery didn't go quietly; she fought back, kicking and clawing, her panic twisting into defiance. The guards called it violent resistance, enough to deem her "dangerous to interact with other prisoners." So instead of a shared cell, she was sent to solitary confinement. Her mother didn't fight the sentence; Avery never knew if it was out of duty, disappointment, or quiet self-preservation. Now, on Earth, Avery carries the weight of that mistake like a brand on her skin. She still thinks like an engineer, still sees systems and solutions where others see chaos. But beneath that logic is a quiet desperation, a need to prove that she's not just the girl who made the Ark bleed air. She's the girl who's going to rebuild something better, for herself and for Naila; the sharp, stubborn shadow at her side who reminds her every day what's at stake. Together, they're not just surviving. They're learning how to live. STARTED: 25/06/25 ENDED: - [ season 1 - season 5 ]

cryptid /cryp·tid/ noun an animal that has been claimed to exist but never proven to exist ----------- The investigation of cryptid creatures from the general public sparked interest within SHIELD's Enhanced Division and, subsequently, HYDRA's Weapons Division. A race to find the creatures of cryptids commenced as myth merged with reality. Thus began decades of an underwhelming chase that proved nearly pointless. Nearly. PROJECT: CRYPTID emerges, and three year old 017 finds herself introduced to a tall, towering and scary looking weapon, the Winter Soldier. Quiet and recluse, Solveig doesn't mind being called 017. She doesn't remember her home or her family, but she does know the only family she has now- HYDRA. She knows nobody else has the glassy wings on her back, and she knows she's all sorts of wrong. The agents say so. But, maybe, just maybe, the man- Bucky- would think of her different, and maybe, the Winter Soldier would too. ----------- "Only the best dads let their children fly. Only the most loved children will soar." ----------- in which the Winter Soldier adopts an Asgardian child. ----------- CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER (minimally/references) BLACK WIDOW PRE-AVENGERS: ASSEMBLE AVENGERS: ASSEMBLE POST-AVENGERS: ASSEMBLE WARNINGS: child abuse, non-consensual body modification, torture, etc (the usual HYDRA violence)

Angel Hartas grew up in a house where religion was the air he breathed. Jesus this, Jesus that, sins this, sins that - everything was about salvation, repentance, and eternal life. Every Sunday, without fail, he was dragged to church. He attended a religious high school run by nuns, where scripture was preached like it was law. He was the model Christian, or at least, that's what people saw. Deep down, though, Angel wasn't so sure. His faith was eroding little by little, each day feeling like one more step away from something he was never sure he truly believed in. Tommy Carlson, on the other hand, was the antithesis of everything Angel knew. He didn't believe in God - he didn't believe in anything remotely close. Instead, he swore by crystals and spiritual energy, by good vibes and the universe. He was unapologetically himself. Happy, carefree, and always joking, often at the wrong times. He cursed like it was second nature, never concerned with how his words might land. The night Angel was ready to step off a bridge, the weight of his religion too much to bear, Tommy showed up, camera in hand, with a dream to capture the world. It didn't take long for Angel to realise Tommy was everything he had been taught to stay away from. Tommy was gay, and that alone made him the person Angel was warned to avoid. But despite the rules, despite what he was supposed to believe, Angel couldn't seem to stay away. ★ original story ★ started april 3rd 2025 ★ all rights reserved ©️
