Camping was not a good use of her summer break. But Nya didn't have a choice. Her parents dragged her into the forest and expected her to enjoy unfiltered family time. However, Nya's perspective on her summer plans changed when she met Jay. Intrigued by his perspective on life, she learns that camping isn't as bad as she initially thought. Ninjago AU: Antonia (Toni) Smith is a high school student in her final year, who has just stated working part-time at the local comic book store. She generally enjoys her job and gets on well with the customers, if it just wasn't for the annoying son of a famous movie star... Cover by @Sopherloafer

Moving to the city was hard enough for Nya Smith. Having to deal with a new school, new home, and a new family is the least of her problems. She discovers that everyone in the city has secrets: her brother, her foster family, her server at a local restaurant. Even the boy from her school that she's catching feelings for. But can she trust him when he's constantly lying to her? This is a Ninjago AU. Heavy on the Jaya, if you didn't infer that from the description. I don't own any of the characters but gosh darn it, I love writing about them.

Takes place after Rebooted. Due to a misunderstanding, Jay believes that Nya has chosen Cole and leaves the team. While the others are unsuccessfully trying to find him, a heartbroken Nya finds out she's pregnant with her ex-boyfriend's child (which kinda explains her messed-up emotions, irrational behaviour, and sudden dislike for pudding in season 3 😉). Six years later, Jay has left his Ninja life behind and is (more or less) happily working as a primary school teacher - which is where he meets an interesting little girl with lightning powers. The only time he was really free was when strolling around the small park at the centre of the concrete jungle that was his neighborhood. Even then, he had things out of his reach; the lone girl, always sitting in the same spot, was someone he could only admire from afar. All it took was a miscalculated throw to let fate do its work.
