Mice were common creatures inside the homes of District Nine. A constant reminder of their failure during the rebellion. Originally released by their oppressors as a form of biological weapons, it wasn't uncommon to see their descendant's scurrying the dirt streets. When the Capitol learned of them being easily slayed during the war, they modified the failed jabberjays to attack anyone who harmed the disease carriers. A trait that the Mockingjay sadly kept. Messrs Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot, and Prongs certainly feel quite accomplished after completing what they dub as the Marauder's Map. A map designed to show every classroom, hall, corridor, and even secret passageway of the Hogwarts Castle but also capable of identifying every person, ghost, and poltergeist roaming about. Or so they thought. It takes Elspeth Hayes casually strolling down the corridor one afternoon for the boys to realise that she's not showing up on the map and they want to figure out why. But Elspeth is not about to give away her secrets so easily, after all, a girl has to have her secrets to keep the boys on their toes.

Blood was pouring down her left arm, dripping into her sleeve. He'd already produced another dagger from Mother knew where and was about to throw it at her face. "Wait. Eris. We want the same thing. We could work together if you would just trust me." Eris narrowed his eyes at her. "Trust you? Do you genuinely think I'm simple?" he hissed out the words, trying to keep his voice low. "You want me to trust you when all you've been doing since you got here has been sneaking around and spying on us."
