Being the General Mahamatra is an unbelievable responsibility. The head of the matras usually goes on dangerous adventures to investigate those who break the rules and try to face against the Akademiya. Cyno is the weapon himself of this instituion. Most of the times when he visits Tighnari, he is full of wounds and injuries all over his body. Tighnari always respected the matras, but as for many times, it was mostly hard for both of them to spend some time together due to Cyno's role.
