Peter B Parker grew up in the small city of Riverdale with his Aunt May and his Uncle Ben, after his parents, Richard and Mary Parker, died in a plane crash. The last time he saw them he was four years old, and he never discovered why his family had to move from Queens to Riverdale. The only thing he knew was that his parents left and never came back. Growing up, Peter developed an insane passion for science, robotics, photography and everything related to Pop culture, that made him the perfect target for bullies like Eugene "Flash" Thompson, along with the fact that he had glasses, was scrawny and short. His only friend at the start was Harry Osborn, son of Norman Osborn and the classic rich guy in school, then also Gwen Stacy, daughter of captain George Stacy, joined them. Things changed a bit at Riverdale High, where he met Betty Cooper, Archie Andrews and Jughead Jones, they became the six musketeers, inseparable, but the bullying didn't end. At the end of the second year at Riverdale High, Peter's class went to Oscorp to assist to the demonstration of Farley Stillwell and Curtis Connors on the radiations, and how these radiations influenced the spiders. During that demonstration Peter got bit by one of the spiders who escaped its tiny box, and from that moment Peter's life was never the same. In time the six musketeers fell apart: Archie started football, and for that he just stopped hanging out with Peter and Jughead, who because of this became more closed and solitary, Betty did the same as Archie, but living her next door to Peter, she never really stopped talking occasionally to him through social media. After the death of his Uncle Ben he spent all Summer fighting the criminals and the gangs of Riverdale, such as for example the Southside Serpents, always ready to steal something from one of the Oscorp structures, which was in Riverdale. Now another school year is about to start, and for Peter it was the opportunity for a fresh start.

Zachary Anderson was born as a mutant. He developed a mutant ability that is similar to a spider. At the age of fourteen, he was delivering pizzas at his mother's job at NYU's Imperial Bio-Fuel Technology laboratory, or I.B.T. for short. After Zachary delivered the pizzas, he found an empty laboratory room that was restricted. Zachary went in to investigate, and he saw the spider cage full of experimental radioactive spiders. When Zachary got bit by one of the radioactive spiders, the bite enhanced his X-gene and gave him superhuman abilities. He tries to juggle his two new worlds -- so he must learn from Peter Parker how to use his new powers and responsibilities as Spider-Man while keeping it a secret from his high school friends and teachers.
