Rules have been drilled into his mind, and what will happen when he meets his mates. Now he dreads the day and wishes he will never meet them as some unfortunate souls do. However, the difference between them and October is that October isn't looking for them, and we all know things suddenly turn up when you don't want them to. Like that pair of glasses, you lost and now you bought new ones they suddenly turn up and get told off by your mum for wasting money. So what happens when October bumps into them, literately. Will he run off or stay put?

As a lone wolf, Fox has been through every kind of hardship, and he always ends up alone. Wolves are meant to be pack creatures, family creatures, and he can't have either one. His past is full of hurt, and he wants nothing more than to forget all of it and face each day as it comes. He figures it will be no different when a pack takes him prisoner and won't let him leave their land, but he soon discovers that this pack has its secrets. Fox finds himself caught up in unlikely relationships, strange plots, and haunting figures of his past. He needs to decide if he should keep laying low, or fight for a better life.
