Fate can be strange and abrupt, rushing in when you least expect it. We can't forsee it. When destiny and love knocks on your door, you won't even notice. Even so, time passes by day by day, bringing in unexpected surprises and opportunities. How do you know that its meant to be? We can't. Only time can. Wherever you go, time is bound to your life, hour by hour, minute by minute, second by second. With this short story, I hope to capture the essence of a first love through a little rain, a smatter of coffee and a sprinkle of time. An odd combination, but a combination that works nontheless.
