This is a My Hero Academia Alternate Universe. As well as having quirks, everyone can shape shift. The majority of the population finds their Final Form, this is like their Spirit Animal. They grow certain parts of their animal (ears, tail, scales) and can only turn into that animals for the rest of their life. Until you receive your Final Form you are referred to as a Shifter, people with Forms are referred to as The Formed. This is because they have 'found their other half, they are fully formed'. The average maturing age is usually between 8-12 but it can happen at any time. 10% of the population never receives their Final Form, they are looked down on in society. People think of them as more animal than human, they are often kidnapped, bred and sold illegally as pets. Deku is a Shifter, and he just started at UA. Shinsou and Dabi will play a part in this as well as Aizawa, All Might and Class 1A. Will probably be BakuDeku with a little TodoDeku. Not Todobakudeku! They become strangely close and Izuku even gets free roam of their head quarters. When the pros finally find Izuku and rescue him, he can't help but feel a little disappointed. He actually liked it there. He liked Shinso. The purple haired villain is arrested, but not for long. The league breaks him out. There will be a lot of fluff, but there will be some heavy stuff. A TodoDeku(Todoroki Shouto X Midoriya Izuku) slow burn ship story, but this one has a twist. Both of them suffer from a mental illness, that is indirectly shown in cannon. Midoriya has general anxiety disorder and is being treated for it. Todoroki has ComplexPTSD but doesn't realize it. This story will explore their illnesses as well as the feelings that they developed for each other. This story contains a lot of fluff but some deep emotional stuff as well. I have both of the illnesses I'm diagnosing Midoriya and Todoroki, so their symptoms and thought processes are real symptoms and illogical thought processes that one can have. (And that thing in the cover is a brain scan of someone with PTSD)
