Fifteen year old Scarlet Jones lives in the country of Nyles. Her mother is suffering from schizophrenia, and kills herself--but Scarlet is blamed for her death. As she flees the town, she meets Arbor, an eighteen year old traveling artist. The two start off on a quest to Nyles City to find Scarlet's father. Little did she know that she would find out that some creatures were never just myths.
