Inhaling close to her ear, he assured her, "I can guarantee you a lifetime of adventures." Meerab clutched her hands together but smiled and replied, "You better be sure, otherwise I'll be coming back for a refund!" When she looked up not getting any reply, she noticed that he was staring at her. He was looking at something. She had the impression that she was staring into the distance at a lost star. He reverted his gaze, he turned to face her again, and she noticed there was a flicker in it. His gaze seemed to carry a hint of longing and sadness as if he was trying to remember a forgotten dream. She searched carefully to find it once more. He quickly closed his eyes when she caught him looking. She wondered what story his eyes were trying to tell her, and if there was something she could do to help him find his lost dream again. "You might regret it later tonight if you continue to look at me that way. In any case, I'd prefer to advise you to enjoy it." He spoke while still sporting his distinctive smile. Taking a step closer, he added, "But remember, there are consequences for every action." "But if you are planning to do that, be cautious because you might grieve for it more than I'll ever do. Cause darling I'm a nightmare dressed like a daydream. " She made good with a wink. She was no less, she had always been like that. And he wasn't surprised either. He felt the agitation in her tone. This was Meerab who had the power to ignite his very being, an intensity he had no power to resist. It was like a spark setting a dry forest ablaze; his passion burned brighter and brighter with each passing moment.
