[MACAQUE GETS THERAPY/REDEMPTION AU] Sun Wukong and The Six-eared Macaque used to be best of friends. They were the Sun and Moon, they were inseparable! They were exactly the same but total opposites at the same time, and they basked in that fact. They were two of a kind... Until Wukong killed Macaque out of anger. From that, neither will recover. Macaque was revived and roamed the earth once more, but he wasn't the same. Nowadays, Wukong has a successor. A young, bright, happy human named Mk. Macaque goes on to antagonize Mk, attacking him, fooling him, trapping his friends- Until one day Macaque finds himself at the Kid's mercy soon after Lady Bone Demon's defeat. Mk refuses to harm Macaque despite the past and instead opts to take him to Sandy's for his wounds and a bit of therapy. Macaque begrudgingly goes and it seems fine at first. With this one, I didn't really think of what was supposed to happen other than bits in pieces that were supposed to be shown in the future chapters, but trust me, those bits will come to play in the newer version. Macaque starts having fantasies of Wukong and Wukong has no fucking idea. But of course Macaques knows Wukong will never like him back and every time he see's Wukong he'll try and avoid him. Why? Because he doesn't want to get rejected knowing Wukongs WAY out of his league? Kinda but no. Because he gets flustered and embarrassed whenever he sees Wukong do something nice? Also yes but not the main reason. Because he feels like Wukong knows he has fantasies about him? Maybe. Because he gets horny even seeing or hearing Wukongs name sometimes? Who knows. But no, none of those add up to the real reason why. The REAL reason why is Macaques scared of telling Wukong he loves him and wants to spend his whole life with him. He fears that the great sage with make fun of him for it and use it against him knowing that Macaque had a soft spot for him. He knows what happened in the past when he loved Wukong, he died. He was betrayed and left for dead by his dear lover. Wukong would never like Macaque and that just proved it. He didn't want to repeat the past, he didn't want to look like a loving, helpless idoit. He never wanted to fall in love with Wukong again but everything about that peach eating idoit made Macaques cheeks flush and his stomach swist. He hated himself for liking such a person but in the end there was nothing he could do about it. No matter how hard he tryed, He was still deeply head over heels in love with Wukong But little did Macaque know that this affected Wukong badly, Really Really Bad.
