Neteyam was supposed to die that night on the rocks. Yet he didn't. Saralyn, a young traveler saved him. She is an outcast, no clan and no belonging. The Sullys do not trust her, but when she is forced to stay with the Metkayina clan and the family, feelings change. Distrust becomes curiosity and eventually friendship. Even after the parents warnings the Sully kids don't stay away from her, forming a bond despite their differences. Neteyam is torn between loyalty towards his parents and their wishes and curiosity and gratitude towards the traveler. When he leans closer into their bond, he threatens to disappoint his parents and duty, but what if he just can't help himself? - all characters and the world belong to James Cameron, except for Saralyn and her family :)
