Descendant of shapeshifting wolves tied to the full moon, created out of the result of a massacre during 1906 Brownsville Atlanta, Georgia-Kareem Johnson Jr. is left out on the ends after most of his pack have already imprinted. On the night he's walking his dog, a unique scent captures his attention-a woman named Alyina Haywire, who recently moved from Michigan to Georgia after her Nanna's passing. Unaware of an oncoming car, Kareem rescues her just in time, and in that moment, his world stops and his body has a mind of its own, reacting to every touch, sound, and taste she provides. He imprints on her. Finally. Then shortly finds out she happens to be Deaf from a mistake on his end. Desiring to be near her, always at her side, and available for her needs, Kareem proposes a proposition that would satisfy their mutual cravings, especially his own. But as a private man, Kareem struggles between keeping Alyina to himself and revealing the world to her, fearing she'd run away once learning the truth of his wolf nature. This leads to withholding a significant part of his identity, choosing to let their relationship develop organically in a complicated world she doesn't know of. Meanwhile, Alyina, a woman with her own complex history around romance, faces the challenge of adapting to a new city while pursuing her dream of becoming an animator.
