Miles had been thinking a lot lately. He had been thinking about spider society. About Miguel. About earth 42 and his counterpart there. About Gwen. About all of his new friends, like Pav and Gayatri and Byte. But most of all he had been thinking about Hobie. Hobie and his stupid cockney accent that was sometimes so thick you couldn't understand what he was saying. Hobie and his stupid punk rock attitude that made him willing to do what was right no matter what it took. Hobie and his stupid wicks that fit impossibly under his spiked mask. Hobie and the way he was so effortlessly perfect. Hobie and how deeply he cared for all of his friend. Hobie and how cute it was when he got excited when he saw Pav or Gwen. He had hoped one day his mere presence would bring Hobie that much joy. Hobie and how adorably focused he would get when he tinkered with a goober or tuned his guitar. Wait... what was he saying? He didn't actually think all of those things about Hobie, did he?

Punkflower- miles gets hanahaki disease because he feels unriquited love from hobie bc there talking about crushes, miles basically describes hobbie and hobbie loves Miles but he gets nervous and scared and started making up shit abt a "she" who is the complete opposite of miles.
