An essay I wrote for a scholarship contest... in the style of Doctor Seuss.

Secrets. Everyone has them. Some have more than others. Some have more important ones than others. But everyone has them. Secrets wouldn't be called secrets if you everyone knew about it, and that's why I decided to let everyone who wanted to know about my secrets, know about them. Of course, I have many more than 19 secrets, but I've narrowed it down. I've noted down the major ones. Or should I say, removed the minor ones? Yes, that sounds more suitable. And that's why you have a choice to know about secrets that it might be better to know, rather than to not. When someone says they're fine and give you a smile, do you go along with it? Maybe you should pry, because inside, that person is crumbling and they need someone to hold them together. That someone is me. The question is...do you want to know?
