Gumball is aware that he's a cartoon character. He knows, everything about it really. One day, Darwin catches him talking to someone on the phone in the basement. Soon enough, Gumball's going to have to tell the truth. But it might just be the end of it too. WARNING THIS STORY WILL HIT YOU IN THE FEELS HARD!

The two boys are on vacation with their family at a water park, After Penny moved away, Gumball is hopeful he'll find his special someone on vacation, but he doesn't know...that the perfect person has been with him almost his entire life; Darwin. Darwin has always loved Gumball, and by always, I mean always. Darwin decides that he can't hide his feelings forever, so he attempts to confess while on vacation, but will this be a 'Happily Ever After'? Or a "Happily Ever Disaster'?!

Darwin starts to feel very attached to Gumball, after all, they've spent many years together. Gumball seems not to share the same feelings, that is...until a conflict with Darwin goes unexpectedly...
