A boy named Derrick comes home from school seeing a note on his front door after a bad day. The note says "Derrick, I know it's been hard for you after your dad died but I need to have some time alone. I'll be back at 3:21 p.m." Four days past and Derrick still hasn't seen his mom. Finally, he starts to look for her with the help of Sally, his cousin and they have a crazy adventure looking for her.
