It mostly follows the real time line, but not completely (ie. concert dates/locations don't always reflect the real ones). Some of the characters are based on real people. Dude, it would be awesome to know them personally but I don't, so their role in this narrative is fictional. While the events are fictious, some elements here and there in the story are inspired by things the characters (mostly Alex and Miles) said/did in interviews or shows.

Although the flirtatiousness of the obnoxious frontman plays it's toll as she develops unwanted feelings towards the singer that she lives in denial of. However, powerful and confused emotions bubble under the surface and the constant bite from the Monkey lead Rose and Alex into a love-hate relationship. Luckily, the likes of Miles,Matt,Jamie and Nick are what keeps the two from killing each other, but not from sleeping with eachother...
