My following words of yore and spite may shock you to the very core. They acknowledge a fact known to few, and even less, known to heart. But please, by the whim of mind and patience of soul, I beseech you to listen all the clear. Tolkien's tale of Middle Earth has fallen from its original translation. His story of Thorin Oakenshield's company once bore truth, but fate was reconstructed in light of a prophecy: The girl born of flame, fostered by the dwarves, royal in her name, and her child's birth. She is the one and only protector of Middle Earth, guardian over Mordor, savior of our royal dwarf. Her knowledge will be countered by family's unknown survival, though fate will turn it right as in sacrifice of her royal line. It isn't just a story, but the Valar's greatest mistake; let the heavens toll loud to save Durin's sons After the war of the ring and the destruction of Sauron, the Valar decided to repeat the past, starting at the union of the company within a small hobbit hole in the typically quiet Shire. Why, you may ask, did they decide to do this? Originally, the Valar had ignored the prophecy stated above (as they had done in the past), allowing the Durin line to be exterminated by the Pale Orc, Azog. However, the reign of Dain and his heirs as they took Erebor's throne turned out to be heartless and cruel, unlike the intended fate of Erebor foretold. Therefore, the Valar decided to turn back the clock, 60 years, giving Gandalf the idea to invite the "girl of fire" to the meeting in Hobbiton. Indeed, this did bring about the intended fate of the Lonely Mountain as well as infinite happiness to the company of heroic dwarves. This is her story, as she sacrificed her line in saving Durin. Fairies are one of the oldest race of beings in Arda -once they called Numenór home- but Arethusa watched as the sea claimed the island from the helm of a ship as the survivors fled to Middle Earth. She has wandered for several lifetimes and has seen nearly all there is. Long had she set aside her bow and sward for, in truth, a healer's hands see more blood than a warrior's. Over the years, she had grown to love the ways of hobbits and there is no hobbit she adores more than Bilbo Baggins. When her visit is interrupted by a band of uncouth dwarves and her dear friend goes running out his door on an adventure what can she do but follow? Once there was a Hobbit who set out on a quest to reclaim the homeland of the Erebor Dwarves of old. Never did he know where his journey would take him or what friendships were going to be formed. Once there was an Elf-maiden, beautiful and exceedingly powerful than the rest of her kin. Never did she know that this Hobbit would take her out on an adventure she wouldn't soon forget. It had all started like with most Elven lives, though, with a young child living with her parents in a home, like all Elven children did... Míriel wasn't an ordinary Elf in the world of Middle-Earth. Her exceedingly powerful magic made her a danger to not only herself and others, which lead to her isolation from the outside world. However, when Míriel encounters a company of Dwarves she is soon drawn into their adventures to reclaim their homeland.

'In the end, we only regret the chances we didn't take..." Ivy has walked Middle Earth for almost as long as the beginning of the land itself, surviving the world she was thrown into all alone, with no title. She has lived to see battles and wars throughout the course of time, never truly belonging anywhere or ever having a true calling. She thirsts for adventure, something to fill in the endless time that she will always have until the bittersweet kiss of death... So, it's no surprise when a familiar Wizard shows up, offering a quest, that she just can't pull herself to refuse. 13 Dwarves and a Hobbit make up the company for the long road ahead, each of her companions teaching her lessons. Ivy finds herself learning and evolving from these folk, letting herself feel included again. But will it last...? ~Credit to J.R.R Tolkien for creating this amazing world and story. Credit also to Peter Jackson for turning this great book into a movie trilogy, this of which is what my story is mainly based off. I understand that my story may not line up with Tolkien's history in Middle Earth, this is simply for entrainment purposes. Please enjoy x~

Saria Baggins is half human, half dwarf and has spent as much of her life as she can remember living in the Shire. A place she is thankful for, but eager to leave; always dreaming of living one of the adventures she has spent her life reading about in books. She has no friends other than Bilbo Baggins, and she would leave in a heartbeat if the opportunity were ever to present itself. Her father was killed in battle when she was fifty years old. Given that she has the longer life of the dwarves, she looked to all to be a young teenager. No one would take her seriously, but her good friend Bilbo Baggins made the courageous decision to adopt her. He needed someone to leave his home to, and they had been friends his entire life, though she is fifteen years his senior. One day, a strange wizard arrives at Bag-end, and offers Bilbo a chance to join him on an adventure. Much to Saria's dismay he declines. He returns later with a company of dwarves on a quest to reclaim a lost homeland. They asked Bilbo to join them, and help them, but he refuses. So Saria volunteers to go in his place. Though many of the dwarves are skeptical, it becomes obvious very quickly that she is more than capable of taking care of herself. As the quest continues, Saria proves herself a true asset several times over, she also grows very close to a certain blond Dwarf prince, but unfortunately they simply do not have the option of a fairy-tale love story. The road they walk is a perilous one, they balance on the edge of a knife. One wrong move will mean death for the entire company. When they find themselves back in Erebor, his uncle's dragon sickness will force them to make impossible choices; and there is a war brewing. Will they be able to bring everyone together and save their people? Or will it cost them everything? Including each other?

You should know by now that a Dwarf has one true love, and while they may take many lovers and marry anyone they like, they only ever truly bloom when they are with their One. Thorin Oakenshield had never heard any music. There had never been a song or so much as a tune in his head, until that voice ripped through his soul and the song filled his mind. "Even when seasons change, our love still stays the same. You give me that hummingbird heartbeat. Spread my wings and make me fly, the taste of your honey is so sweet when you give me the hummingbird heartbeat, hummingbird heartbeat!" Join The Company of Thorin Oakenshield (again) as they travel to Erebor and Thorin struggles with the strange appearance of a girl from another world who knows his story, and who owns his heart. But, does she have another secret in store for the Dwarves and our wayward Hobbit? "You're a Fairy," Bilbo breathed.
