Enjolras loved his country more than anything. Or so he thought, until his feelings for a particular member of the Amis began to surface. He could not help but love him until the very end. This is my theory about Enjoltaire and yes, it does follow canon, so be prepared for feels.

Grantaire wasn't afraid of dying, and with the Leader in Red, holding his hand, nothing could be better. Or perhaps it could've been... The confusion was real on Enjolras' face when he woke in Grantaire's arms. He was...alive?
