Deepdive into Sidney and Charlotte as they fall in love and a CONTINUATION beyond the screen ending. A re-telling and continuation of Sanditon (PBS/ITV) expanding on the thoughts and feelings of Charlotte and Sidney. Of course going beyond the heart-wrenching screen ending. This is the Sanditon book as I want it to be. To my delighted surprise the story won the category 'Other' in the Sanditon Survival book club's (Facebook group for Sanditon lovers) '2020 Sanditon Fanfiction Awards'. Disclaimer; I have borrowed characters and part of dialogue even if I would love if they were all mine

**Only the bonus chapter is paid, the rest of the story is (and will stay) free!!** Libby Marks-Whelan is decidedly not a lady. Kicked out of nearly every finishing school in the country, she's shocked when her demure, straight-laced cousin Ella invites her to the royal court as attendant during her debutante season. What Ella fails to realize, however, is that Libby's brand of mischief is exactly the kind of distraction Prince Andrew is looking for during his inaugural season as an eligible bachelor. ***2016 WATTY AWARD WINNER - VORACIOUS READS*** WINNER OF THE FICTION AWARDS 2016 - HISTORICAL FICTION Against all odds, Libby Marks-Whelan is back at court - and no longer confined to the service corridors as a lady-in-waiting. With the start of the new Winter Season, however, the competition for a crown just got a lot fiercer. Now that there are two princes searching for wives, Libby struggles not just against the other debutantes but also against the monotony of court life in her new position. With the queen's disapproval aimed squarely in her direction, will she weather the storm to win her prince? ***Please note that this story is the sequel to The Season. Since there are many characters, backstories, and subplots that I won't be able to fully explain in the first few chapters, I strongly recommend you read The Season first!***

When Jessica Lyons is offered the role of Elizabeth Bennet in Pride & Prejudice, it feels like fate has handed her the chance to find her own Mr. Darcy. All Jess really wants is to meet an old-fashioned guy who's thoughtful, honest and polite-a real gentleman, just like those romantic heroes in Jane Austen's novels. If he happens to be wearing a tailcoat and figure-hugging breeches she'd consider that a bonus. But in a world where everyone is pretending to be someone else, the line between reality and fiction is never as clear as you expect. Note: This story is a *Work in Progress*. The chapters I'll be posting are edited drafts, and I don't have a set posting schedule at present. Once the story is complete I will be able to update on a more regular basis.

"Somerset: A Time to Love", by Gratiana Lovelace (2017): Wattpad Description/Prologue Life can be funny sometimes--strange, not humorous. Well, not strange, but perhaps unexpected. You go along in life thinking that you are perfectly happy--or at least content. And then, something happens or you meet someone--and everything changes. Hopefully, that change is for the better. And though we may not have sought love--or we stopped hoping for it--sometimes love has a way of finding us, when the time to love is right. And does devoting oneself to a life of religious service to others, proscribe that a man cannot experience all of life's joys that having a wife and having a family can bring? Does god require total sacrifice of Earthly love as a measure of spiritual devotion? Must a man choose between his god and his love? Or is romantic love possible for anyone, if we open our eyes and hearts to it? Ecclesiates 3 :1-9 (KJV excerpts) [(2)] "To every thing there is a season, and a time for every purpose under the heavens: A time to be born, and a time to die; ... A time to weep, and a time to laugh;... A time to keep silence, and a time to speak;" ... And yes, there is, a time to love. Author's note, July 01, 2017: I began writing my original contemporary romance "Somerset: A Time to Love" in 2014, working on it off and on over the years. And now, I feel that it is this story's turn to be serialized and shared with you. In part, because I like to rotate between sharing period historical fiction and contemporary present day romances. So this story is in the contemporary romance category. I hope that you will enjoy it. Cheers! Gratiana Lovelace ;->

Despite living thirty miles from London, Anabelle Latimer knows her chances of finding a husband in their sleepy village are as thin as cook's white soup. Then she discovers a kindred spirit in Mr. Fielding, the intelligent and handsome new steward from Blackwood Hall. It was a great shame that his position in life was so below her own, for he was exactly the sort of man she would have wished to marry. Anthony Fielding, tired of being the target of the ton's marriage-minded mothers, hopes to spend a relaxing week shooting and fishing in the country. Yet upon his arrival at Blackwood Hall he discovers an estate in chaos, and a friend in desperate need of help. He is quick to offer his knowledge and expertise, unaware that his generosity will have unexpected repercussions. The Steward of Blackwell Hall is a traditional Regency romance of approximately 66,000 words.
