Lance is an omega so he goes into heat every month (this can vary) for around a week however the stress on his body from being in space and losing Allura has caused his heats to be unpredictable and erratic. None of the paladins besides Hunk knew of his second gender. When Keith comes back from space he finds out. Keith is an alpha so he has a rut, for a week every two months, but an early rut is brought on by Lance's erratic heat. This is a smut Normal omegavese rules, Keith is top and an alpha. The war is over, and omegas have never been more valuable. The Galra empire severely dwindled Earth's population, and now omegas were required to have at least one pup with their mate. If they didn't by the age of 25, the Omega Breeding Program would bring the omega to one of their facilities and give them a waiting alpha to mate with. Lance was worried for Keith, as he was an unmated omega. But being the leader of Volton and the Blade of Marmora had its advantages. Although, Earth wasn't the only planet to suffer. And some acted more drastically. On a mission, Keith goes missing. Everyone is freaking out. There were rumors of a group kidnapping omegas of all species for breeding and overall amusement. Could Keith have been taken by this group? Lance goes on his own mission with some help to find his missing friend.
