I have no idea what was going through my head when I made this...

After successfully managing to gain custody of Harry, Remus and Sirius have raised Harry well. He knows that he's loved, and well-treated, and he's friends with Ron and Neville. However, a visit to Gringotts on Harry's tenth birthday to get him confirmed as the heir to the Potter and Black Houses proves that Dumbledore has done something awful to Harry, and they realise they must remain cautious of him. This leads us to Harry's very well-known first year at Hogwarts, but this time with Draco, Neville, and Hermione by his side. ~~~~~~~~~~~ Just a note: Most of the relationships will start to happen in the third book. It's my plan to work through all the canon books. This first one starts out echoing canon very closely, but will become quite AU after the first few books. [COMPLETED] Harry and Lily Potter had a pretty eventful first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and they're hoping for their second year to be less so. It's just their luck when students begin getting petrified and the school threatens to close. The rumoured Chamber of Secrets has been opened. Lily Potter is suspected to be the heir of Slytherin, and why shouldn't she be? She is a Slytherin parselmouth, always found at the scene of the crime. The new trio are back for their second year at Hogwarts, and the Chamber is due to be opened soon. Draco has more or less been adopted by Sirius and Remus, and is extremely happy to be a part of a nice, relaxed family. Well... as relaxed as it can get with the ex-Marauders around, anyway. In the meantime, Blaise has felt lonely, being cut off from Draco, so he decides to confront him to try to get his best friend back. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ The second installment in the series rewrite.
