"I'm not so sure." I hesitated "Come on Lexie! Take a risk once and awhile." Liam begged me. "Ok." I smiled at him and he grinned back. "Get in the car because we're gonna need to get going before it's to dark outside to get a room." He then left my bedroom and made his way downstairs to his pick-up truck. I needed to finish packing, but I wanted to spend time with Liam. I wasn't sure how much time we had left together until I had to go off to college, but I was going to take every opportunity I got to spend time with him. I didn't want to leave him. I didn't have the strength to leave my life, and even my future with Liam. I wasn't going to leave. That was my final decision! But then again, what would happen if I did go away?

"You're imperfect, which makes you perfect." He told me as he kindly wrapped his arm around my shoulders. "Are you gonna be ok?" He asked me. His sexy green eyes were intensely staring into mine, but his look was heartwarming and comforting. I didn't feel any pain with him. I didn't have any pain with him. Every little piece of drama in my life just magically 'poofed' away. I was in love. And out of all of the people in the world, I was in love with Max Carpe.

He just stood there. Looking at me. The way I had reacted had put him in a state of shock. "I... I um," Every word I had learned from pre-school to now had just flew out of my mind and left me speechless. "I should go." I could tell he could barely hear the hurtful words I had just chocked out of my mouth, but I didn't care. Not anymore. I walked away. Fighting back tears. I drove all the way to my house and when I got there I fell against the cold wall. What had just happened? All I knew is that I wasn't able to think straight. My mind was clouded with memories of him. I shook my head trying to forget everything that was involved with him. But I wasn't able to forget. These thoughts were a part of me now. He was a part of me.

"I love you, Ashton" I whispered to his sleeping face, being careful so he doesn't hear. Quickly kissing him on the cheek, I run away knowing that he can't know, and he will never know. I'm in love with my bestfriend. "Diana?" Ashton's voice stops me. Tears threaten to fall down, but I push them away. "Yes?" "Could you please call Mel?" He replies. I nod and walk away.
