Alice Fairchild has never been famous, never really wanted to be. I mean, deep down, sure...she had that little voice in the back of your mind that told her she'd flourish under the spotlight.
She was rather quiet, but had a sharp bite to her, and she never let anyone kick her while she was down. She ran a bookstore with her two best friends, spending each day surrounded by literature and art and music: something straight out of a fairytale.
Michael Jackson was a rising pop star, soon to be the biggest in the world. He was soft spoken, gentle, kind. He tried not to let the negative voices impact him.
Alice had never thought that she'd be the kind of person to have an opportunity so luckily fall into her lap, but when the doe-eyed, sweet-voiced singer stumbled into her world, she knew she would never be the same.
