It's Harry's 4th year at Hogwarts and his name has just come out of the Goblet of Fire. Everyone has abandoned him and he feels utterly alone. Through an accident Harry and the piece of Voldemort's soul that resides inside him begin to interact and Harry slowly begins to change. He becomes stronger and more aware, and slowly grows aware of a more sinister course of events that has perpetuated his entire life. Harry grows and changes even more, and upon returning to Hogwarts for his fifth year, he discovers even more surprises as he slowly grows his base, and begins careful manipulations as he works towards taking Hogwarts from within.

Getting to Platform 9 3/4 by himself and finding a toad roaming the train, one small moment among thousands, really should not matter all that much in the grand scheme of things... Students start getting petrified at Hogwarts, and all signs are pointing to the boy that already has blood on his hands. Also there's a giant snake roaming the pipes. What could possibly go wrong?

Things change after Harry takes in the magic of the basilisk, but that doesn't mean that the world waits for Harry to catch up as a fugitive roams the streets hunting for a rat, a werewolf stalks the halls hoping for a second chance, and summer plans go awry. Harry just wants to survive the year after the hell that was second year, but between teenage emotions and the mass murder after him, he almost begins to wonders if he will. It doesn't help that dementors are haunting the school.

After something of an interesting start to the summer, Harry and Theo find themselves in the safe confines of Snape's home. To bad the school year can't hold the same peace that they'd found then. The Triwizard Tournament has come back once more, and with a new threat waiting in the wings, even the spirits of the dead are worried that Harry might join him and become one.

What would happen if someone did check on Harry? Remus decides one day that he had to see his cub again, so on his 8th birthday goes to the Dursleys. But he isn't there. They search for three years, until finally he shows up in his first year. What happened to him? Where did he go? And why are the ghosts and elves scared of him? "The blood of a devil runs through you boy. My father will be so glad to hear that."

Harry has found out that the light has been keeping many of secrets from him that push him over the edge. He returns to Hogwarts after the death of his godfather seemingly unaware of the light's manipulations, but in the shadows the notorious assassin Sang Lys has arose.
