An engine rally is to be held in the High Hills of Sodor with all of the Thin Controller's engines taking part. There will be some special visitors coming to see the engines at their best. But when accidents begin to happen and the engines who rescue and repair them, Duke and Victor, go missing...the engines and the railway are in trouble. Skarloey leads the rescue party, and tries to solve several mysteries along the way! Who is the mysterious engine that Thomas saw passing the Steamworks?
