Preview: I feel the blood running down my head from the attack. I try to move but my hands are pulled back from the silver chains on tied to the wall. Glad that trained my body to not be weakened by silver, I use all my strength to break free. I start walking to an exit to complete the mission but then I feel my wolf stirring up from excitement which distracts me. Out of nowhere, this man appears in front of me and holds me again the wall. "I said look at me," he growled as he grabbed my arm from the Gamma in a vice grip. I winced and finally looked up to his stunning grey eyes. 'Mate!' my wolf yipped happily, although she was very weak she got to sound very excited, but I didn't. I didn't want a mate, one that I am putting in danger. Those people said they would find me no matter where I ran to, I couldn't put my mate or his pack in danger. My wolf whimpered knowing it was the truth. "Kitten," my mate purred, before he growled, "mine!" softly as he let go of my arm and lightly touched my cheek, now I felt the sparks firing on my skin. 'Kitten? Was this guy for real?! Did it look like I had whiskers and meowed?' I mentally scolded at him.

I was grabbed by the arm and pinned against the wall, I gasped in shock as I looked up to see the dude from earlier, "what the h-" I was cut off when he placed his finger over my lips and shushed me, "Mine" he growled. yes growled, I mean who growls. Before I could respond, he smashed his lips on to mine and ravished them. Instantly a strange spark ignited inside me, tingles erupted on my lips. I suddenly felt this uncontrollable pull towards him, like he's meant for me. Why do I feel like this? I felt his hands grab my hips and pinned me harder against the wall with his body. Before I knew it I was kissing him back. His hair was wrapped around my fingers as I pulled his lips closer to me. One of his hands stayed on my hip as his other hand, slid down to my thigh, his thumb, rubbing circles in a spot, sending shivers up and down my leg. His tongue swept into my mouth, exploring the interior. My eyes widened when I felt something very prominent against my stomach. I pushed him away and I began to panic. Suddenly, the sound of my smack against his cheek filled the empty hallway.

After an Alpha has given up looking for their mate, and they need a Luna to help run the pack, they will organise an event known as The Whipping. Female volunteers from packs around the country will put themselves forward if they wish to be in the chance of becoming a Luna. These she-wolves would be whipped in front of all the packs, again and again until their backs were red raw and blood covered. The last female remaining would be given the title of Luna as the Alpha would only want the strongest wolf to help run his pack. Most wolves gave up and quit as they couldn't take the pain, but some head-strong females would go until they were no longer breathing. It was an ugly tradition, from years ago. I had never heard of one happening in this day and age...until that day... Until I met him... On the day of The Whipping...
